Many of the thousands of PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technicians who serve patients in pharmacies in the southern United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and their families and loved ones, have been adversely affected by hurricanes in recent months.
If you are located in a FEMA-designated disaster area, PTCB will work with you so that you can maintain your certification. PTCB will also work to ensure that those seeking initial certification are not penalized for the impact the disaster has had on their exam appointments.

For candidates seeking initial certification:
- If you need to reschedule your exam appointment, contact Pearson VUE at (866) 902-0593.
- If you missed your exam appointment or did not schedule your exam appointment within your 90-day authorization period and are seeking an extension of your authorization period, please submit a request
For CPhTs seeking recertification:
- If you are unable to submit your application,please submit a request and provide us with a summary of the circumstances of your situation.
