Our program would like to become a PTCB-recognized education/training program for the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Program? How do I apply?

Thank you for your interest in becoming recognized by PTCB in order for your students to meet eligibility requirements in 2020.

To obtain program recognition, a PTCB Recognized Education Program Attestation survey must be submitted by the program director.

The attestation survey may take significant time to complete, as it requires program directors to review and attest that their program curriculum includes specific areas of knowledge required by PTCB. Program directors are encouraged to review the 2020 PTCB CPhT Knowledge Reference prior to beginning the survey.

The Recognized Education Program Attestation must be completed by the program director of a pharmacy technician education/training program.

When should I expect a reply?

If you answered all required questions on the attestation survey, you received a confirmation message at the top of the webpage and your program will be recognized by PTCB as fulfilling an eligibility pathway to PTCB's Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification program that will go into effect in 2020. PTCB will publish a list of recognized programs monthly.
