As a pharmacy technician, I am unable to complete an education/training program for a particular reason. What are my options if I plan to apply for certification in 2020?

The information below is specific to updates to the PTCB CPhT Program in 2020, announced here.

An alternative path via work experience (at least 500 hours) will serve experienced pharmacy technicians who were not in a position to attend a PTCB-recognized program in the past.

Experienced technicians will provide a detailed experience attestation when applying for CPhT certification. Work experience is evaluated based on the same knowledge requirements used to evaluate recognized programs.
