When applying for recertification of the CPhT or CPhT-Adv certification CSPT certificants must renew their CSPT certification. Submit a Help Request if you no longer wish to renew your CSPT certification.
If you are certified as a CPhT and CSPT
You must meet the following CE requirements when renewing both certifications.

| Maximum P-specific hours | 10 |
| Minimum law hours | 1** |
| Minimum patient safety hours | 1 |
| Minimum sterile compounding hours | 10 |
*Ten (10) of the 20 CE hours can be in any pharmacy topic. Both pharmacy technician (T-specific) or pharmacist-specific (P-specific) CE are accepted.
**Two (2) pharmacy law CE hours required when applying for reinstatement.
If you are certified as a CPhT-Adv and CSPT
You must meet the following CE requirements when renewing both certifications.
