The preliminary results provided at the end of your exam are not a final indication of your official exam result. PTCB maintains stringent verification procedures for each exam taken. You are not certified until your results are fully processed, verified, and made official, and your score report is provided through your PTCB Account. While preliminary scores are typically an indication of your performance, they are not official or final.
Official score reports are typically available within three weeks of your exam date. PTCB cannot expedite the processing of exam results or certification information. Please note that you are not eligible to reapply for CPhT certification until your official score results are available. Learn more.
Once your exam results are made official and your score report is available within your PTCB Account, if you passed, your certification will become active, your certificate will be available to you to download, and you will receive an email to claim your digital badge. Also, once your exam results are official, if you passed the PTCE, your certification status will be verifiable through PTCB's Verify Certification page.
