My preliminary score report said I passed. Am I certified?

The preliminary score report provided to you at the end of your exam is preliminary and is not an indication of your official exam result. PTCB maintains stringent verification procedures for each exam taken. If you pass the exam, you are not certified until your results are fully processed, verified and made official, and your score report is provided to you through your PTCB Account. While preliminary score reports are typically an indication of your performance, they are not official or final.

Official score reports are typically available within three weeks from your exam date. PTCB cannot expedite the processing of exam results or certification information.

Once your exam results are made official and your score report is available within your PTCB Account, if you passed, your certification will become active, your certificate will be available to you to download through your PTCB Account. Also, once your exam results are made official, if you passed the PTCE, your certification status will be verifiable through PTCB's Certification Verification page.
