I’m submitting my CSPT® recertification application before my CSPT certification expiration date. Why am I being charged a late fee?

PTCB provides recertification candidates with an Application Deadline, the first day of the certification expiration month. Applying for recertification by the Application Deadline ensures ample processing time prior to your certification expiration date. PTCB audits 100% of recertification applications using CPE Monitor data to confirm that the CE requirements have been met during the renewal cycle. 

Any recertification application received after the Application Deadline will be assessed a $25 Late Application Processing Fee, in addition to the required recertification application fee.

To avoid the Late Application Processing Fee, submit your application for recertification between your application window opening date, 60 days prior to your certification expiration date, and your application deadline.
