Thank you for your interest in sponsorship. Our advocate program is going away and we are incorporating PTCB-recognized education training programs as described below. You will still receive the benefits of the former program and be able to sponsor the exam fee for your students.
Your program is invited to apply to become a PTCB-recognized education/training program for the PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) Program.
Beginning on January 1, 2020, PTCB will require CPhT applicants to complete a PTCB-recognized CPhT education/training program OR equivalent work experience. Becoming a PTCB-recognized education/training program will ensure your technician students are eligible to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) after they complete your program.
If you are not PTCB-recognized, your students will not be able to test after January 1, 2020.
Being listed early on ptcb.org will help students identify your program as PTCB-recognized.
There is no cost to become a PTCB-recognized program.
What is required to become PTCB-recognized?
To receive PTCB recognition, you must submit the attestation survey to show that your program’s curriculum includes specific knowledge. This knowledge is identified in PTCB’s 2020 PTCB CPhT Knowledge Reference document and reflects the updates that will be made in the PTCE content on January 1, 2020.
In order for the form to be submitted properly, please select that you are participating in the advocate program.
