Why has the renewal application fee increased?

As a nonprofit certification body, PTCB works to keep our costs as low as possible and minimize fees for our applicants. In coordination with the new streamlined renewal application process, in October 2019, PTCB adjusted the renewal fee for the first time in more than a decade (since 2007).

Application fees cover PTCB’s vital operational and program development needs, including application review, and customer support. The application fee increase allows PTCB to continue to advance  medication safety through excellence in our credentialing programs.
