Pearson VUE first reviews each site request based on specific guidelines.
Sites hosted by educational institutions, such as community colleges and universities, are typically approved through Pearson VUE, as these institutions meet the criteria established in PTCB’s large-scale Pearson VUE Test Center approval in 2017.
Requests from other educational institutions and non-educational hosts are forwarded to PTCB for further review. PTCB evaluates factors such as distance to the nearest existing test center, public transportation options, and available seating at existing test centers. If a new test center would improve convenience for candidates or address a regional gap in the test center network, the site will be strongly considered.
