How can I verify I’ve met all CE requirements?

Before applying for CPhT recertification, you must:

  1. Verify your recertification cycle dates.
    • CEs earned must be completed within the recertification cycle date range.
  2. Verify the Continuing Education (CE) requirements.
    • Recertification Application (Certification is in active status)
      • Complete 20 CE hours total, containing subject matter listed within the PTCE Content Outline. A minimum of 15 technician-specific CE hours must be earned and a maximum of 5 pharmacist-specific CE hours can be earned (UAN audience designation ‘T’ or ‘P’ if earned from an ACPE-accredited provider).
      • Of the 20 hours, complete 1 hour in the subject of pharmacy law
      • Of the 20 hours, complete 1 hour in the subject of patient safety.
    • Reinstatement Application (Certification is in expired status)
      • Complete 20 CE hours total during the recertification cycle and/or reinstatement eligibility window ending one year after the certification expiration date.
      • Of the 20 hours, complete 2 hours in the subject of pharmacy law.
      • Of the 20 hours, complete 1 hour in the subject of patient safety.
  3. Log into your NABP e-Profile.
    • Select CPE Monitor.
    • Change the dates to match your recertification cycle dates.
    • Verify all required CE hours are being reported to your e-Profile.

If your completed CE hours are not reporting to your CPE Monitor transcript, your CE provider may have an option for you to either download a transcript, exam history, or certificates of completion. The option to upload proof of completion is available during the application process. For faster processing, please only provide certificates of completion for the CEs that have not been reported to your CPE Monitor transcript.

NOTE: ACPE-accredited education providers have up to 60 days to report your CEs to CPE Monitor if you provided your e-Profile ID and the month and date (MMDD) of your date of birth at the time you registered for the course. If your CEs do not appear in CPE Monitor, please contact your education provider.
