CPhT/CPhT-AdvTM recertification cycles start the day after your renewal application has been verified to meet CE requirements, and end on your assigned certification expiration date. The CPhT/CPhT-Adv recertification cycle is approximately 2 years.
CEs must be completed within the recertification cycle date range.

Reinstatement Candidates
Reinstated certificants (those who renew their credential after their certification expiration date, within one year of expiration) will be granted an active CPhT/CPhT-Adv Certification status for the remaining balance of their recertification cycle, starting from the day after the application has been verified to meet CE requirements and ending on the certification expiration date.
