How do I change my scheduled exam at a test center to an online proctored exam?

To switch your PTCB exam appointment from either in person at a test center or an online proctored exam, follow the instructions below:

1. Log into your PTCB Account.
2. Click My Scheduled Exam.
   
3. Click the exam under Pre-approved Exams.
   
   • Click Cancel under Actions.
     
   • Confirm you have read and agree to the policies.
     
   • Click Confirm Cancellation to cancel your scheduled exam.
4. After your exam appointment is canceled, click the Dashboard icon.
   
5. Click the exam link under Pre-approved Exams, then click Schedule.
   
   • To reschedule to take your exam via OnVUE, select Online with OnVUE when asked “Where do you want to take your exam?”
     
   • To reschedule your exam location to a test center, select In person at a test center when asked “Where do you want to take your exam?”
     
6. Complete the rescheduling process. 
7. Confirm your exam has been rescheduled by reviewing your new exam appointment confirmation email.

Important Note: If you do not receive an email confirming your new appointment date and time, your exam may not have been rescheduled successfully. Double check your appointment information under Pre-approved exams as you did in Step 3.
