How do I take the Immunization Administration Exam?

To be eligible for the Immunization Administration Assessment-Based Certificate Program, an applicant must hold an active PTCB CPhT Certification and complete a PTCB-Recognized Education/Training Program for the Immunization Administration Certificate.

To take the Immunization Administration Exam, apply for the certificate by logging into your PTCB Account. Then scroll down to Earn Credentials >  Immunization Administration Certificate, and click Apply.

Then, once your application is approved, schedule an appointment using the “Schedule My Exam Appointment” link under Earn Credentials > Immunization Administration Certificate. 

The Immunization Administration Exam is a multiple-choice exam that contains 60 questions. Be prepared to commit 1 hour and 30 minutes for the exam (5-minute tutorial, 1 hour and 20-minute exam, and 5-minute post-exam survey).
