How do I designate a voucher? 


You may designate vouchers for your candidates from within your PTCB Account.

  1. Log into your PTCB account, scroll to “Manage Direct Billing”.
  2. Click to open the drop down menu, and select which PTCB Product you would like to manage (i.e.,  PTCE, CSPT, Assessment-Based Certificates, or the PTCB Practice Exam).
  3. Click “Manage Certification Vouchers”.
  4. On the next page, scroll down to the voucher chart at the bottom of the page.
    • Note: This chart is a tool for you to track your vouchers.
  5. Navigate to the column titled "Designated for", select an “Unassigned” link.
  6. In the pop-up box, type the name of the candidate and then click “Save.” This will NOT notify your candidate. You must still provide your candidate with the voucher number.
  7. Each assigned voucher will have a unique voucher number. Distribute this voucher number to your candidate. Candidates must create their own PTCB Account if they have not already done so and enter the voucher number in their exam application when they indicate they are sponsored by your organization. It will be helpful to inform them for which exam the voucher was created. 
  8. All remaining columns in the voucher chart (ie: application date, exam date, etc.) will update after the candidate has redeemed their unique voucher.
    • Note: Vouchers do not expire and are only good for one application of the PTCB product they were created for.

As a reminder, your organization will only be charged for vouchers that are redeemed and used by your candidate(s) for the exam.

10. Click on an "Unassigned" link

11. In the pop-up box, type the name of your candidate

13. Scroll down to the Voucher Chart.

14. Provide your candidate with the voucher number assigned to them.

15. NOTE: The remaining fields will update AFTER your candidate redeems the voucher.

16. Scroll up and click "Educator Dashboard" to return to the homepage
