Does your state board of pharmacy have an approved validation program that requires technicians to complete product verification procedures (tech-check-tech)? These programs can be used to meet the eligibility requirement for the Technician Product Verification program.

Examples of acceptable documentation include but are not limited to the following:

  • Letter from your employer showing you completed a state-board approved validation program.
  • Documentation from your state board of pharmacy showing your employer has been granted permission to perform technician product verification duties (e.g., letter, consent order, waiver, etc.).

Have more questions about your state’s board-of-pharmacy-approved validation programs? You can contact your state board of pharmacy using information found on the NABP website.
