I am located outside of the United States. May I test?

PTCB credentials are designed for use exclusively in the United States of America and its territories. Therefore, PTCB exams are generally only administered to candidates in the US with the exception of active members of the US military and their spouses who are eligible to test anywhere in the world.

Other applicants who wish to take a PTCB exam outside of the US are only eligible to do so if they provide adequate documentation that shows they meet one of the following conditions:

  • They are employed by a healthcare institution headquartered in the US;
  • The CPhT credential is required or officially recognized by the government regulator for pharmacy practice in the jurisdiction; or
  • They have the ability (i.e., legal and fiscal) to relocate to the US to work and have imminent plans to do so.

If you are located outside of the US and wish to take a PTCB exam outside of the US, please submit a help request with documentation providing proof of one of the above conditions.
