How do I renew my CPhT-Adv Certification?

To renew your CPhT-AdvTM Certification:

1. Complete 25 hours of Continuing Education (CE) 

Total CEs Required	25 hours
Technician-specific (T-specific)	Requires at least 15 hours
Pharmacist-specific (P-specific)	Allows up to 10 hours
Pharmacy Law (03 Topic Designator)	Requires 1*
Patient Safety (05 Topic Designator)	Requires 1

*Two (2) pharmacy law CE hours are required when applying for reinstatement

• Visit the CE Directory for a list of ACPE-accredited CEs.

2. Verify CE Completion
   Ensure all CE activities are completed within your recertification cycle by checking CPE Monitor.
3. Log into Your PTCB Account
   Access your account to begin the renewal process.
4. Click Renew
   • You can renew up to 60 days before your certification expiration date.
   • The application deadline is 30 days before expiration to avoid a $25 late fee.

5. Pay the Recertification Fee
   Submit the required payment to complete your renewal.
